WHILE YOU SERVE OTHERS, LET YOUR HOME SERVE YOU.

Creating a space that supports your needs, restores your energy, and helps you thrive.

HELLO + WELCOME

As I’ve traveled around the world working for international development organizations for over 20 years, I’ve found that one thing’s for sure:

With every move, every new culture, every new job, and every new environment, the one thing that saved my sanity was having a home.

Home means a lot more than a “forever home” to us. A “home” to us isn’t the location; it’s what you do with the space. And after living in several homes across 20 years, I’ve discovered the key elements to a “home,” whether you’re living there for 1 year or 100 years, and help others who work demanding jobs find it for themselves, too.

WHAT'S STANDING IN THE WAY OF YOUR DREAM SPACE?

UNSETTLEMENT

Creating a space that supports you isn’t usually the first thing on your list. You’re often working to help support someone else, and not seeing that you deserve just as much as them. You tend to find that there are other things to worry about– your job, your kids, and those unchecked items on your to-do list that have been there since last month.

DISCOMFORT

Moving around for your job isn’t always the most comfortable feeling. It always seems that right when you’ve settled in your place, you’re off and ready to head onto your next adventure. You’re no stranger to getting a call, and sooner having to pick up and leave on a last-minute notice; it’s “part of the job.”

DISCONNECTION

Your work squeezes out your time and energy (which is why you’re incredible at what you do). But when you’re pulled from those big events and celebrations that connect you the most to your family, your most beloved work can sometimes feel like it’s tearing you away from everything else that matters the most.

DESIGNING THE SPACE YOU DESERVE

Luxury-1.png

LUXURY

You’ve worked hard to get where you are– now, reap the benefits of living in a new space that you can call your own. Maybe you’ve dreamed of living in a new country, getting this new position in your job, or putting in hours at work that you know will pay off. You’re living the life you dreamt about 5, 10 years ago. You’re on top. Now, it’s time to celebrate, with luxury.

COMFORT

Sacrificing your home for your work is hard. It can feel lonely, to change your lifestyle so it fits the work you so lovingly deliver day in and day out. Though you may be far from your community and friends, there’s no reason you can’t find comfort in the space you call yours! Through your own cozy, comforting elements, you can create a home that welcomes you in with open arms, so you can “call it a day” with total peace and reckless abandon.

Community-1.png

COMMUNITY

Not everyone can live the lifestyle you have– creating community wherever you are, no matter how trying your days are, how many hours you put in, or how long you’re on call for. Your loving and community-centered disposition can bleed into the most central elements of your home so that when you do have your well-deserved time off, you can create rituals, cultivate a connection with your friends and family, and invite others to bask in the depths of your favorite parts about yourself.
